I’ve decided to come back

I know you all have been waiting on the edge of your seats just to see if I would come back. Well, I am. So you can now release your breath & breathe again.

I don’t really know why I have decided to come back. Maybe just to talk. Maybe because it seems like I’m posting too much on my Facebook status’ than I really want to. I honestly don’t know. But here I am!

I’m going to make this post short for now, but I promise to be back. No need to hold your breath this time!

Where to begin? Well, our life has continued to be busy. Between traveling for various things to school for the kids(Noah is now in Middle school!!!), it just seems like we barely have time to sit down & relax.

My head is feeling better. Well… It was until the Allergy season started again. Thankfully this time isn’t as bad as the last time. I haven’t had a dizzy spell in months which has been so nice. I’m not sure if I shared this but I have something called Bicuspid Aortic Valve. Here is something to explain it-https://health.google.com/health/ref/Bicuspid+aortic+valve. I will have to go every year to make sure all is well with my heart.

Nathan’s Dad just had a Lung Transplant. He has been having problems for years & it just got so bad that they had no other option but to do a Transplant. We did find out it is genetic though(just like my BAV). So Nathan went to see the Doc last wk. He has been having breathing problems for a while now & some of them are the same symptoms his Dad had. So he is going in for all kinds of testing. I will have to talk to the boys Doctor & see what I will have to do for them. I already have to take them in for testing for the BAV. So we shall see!

Nathan’s Dad had his surgery this past Sunday(Lucas’ 5th birthday!!!). He is already out of ICU & in the Step-Down area. He is doing GREAT!! I’m very impressed with his progress! Nathan went down to Raleigh to see him yesterday & he is coming home today. I think it has helped Nathan to see that his Dad is doing well, & he can relax a bit. He has been pretty anxious about his Dad for a while, & I hope he comes home breathing easier.

Well, I hope that has helped wet your pallet. Like I said, I promise I will be back. I just got to clean now before Nathan gets home. I’ve been lacking in my duties lately so the Apartment is a MESS!!!
